The Third Annual HLS Movie Awards!
Welcome to the Third Annual HLS Movie Awards! Today will be covering the best of the best of the films that came out in 2021! One hundred and sixteen films were watched and graded against each other throughout the course of 2021 and here now we have the winners. There will be nine awards given out, all to those who stood out amongst their peers and deserve special recognition for their hard work and incredible artistry. No nominees were slouches to be clear, they all could have won in a different year so we should respect and celebrate their amazing work as well.
The categories are, Best Score, Best Screenplay and Dialogue, Best Stunt Work, The Streaming Award, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Cinematography and Visuals, Best Actress, Best Actor and Best Picture. Most are straight forward but to explain a few, The Streaming Award is for the streaming service who put out the highest quality of films reviewed and in this weird year of day and date streaming, it was a heated competition. In the categories of Best Actress and Best Actor, a reminder that we choose to not split them up into leading and supporting because we think a performance is not measured in time on screen but the result of the hard work and effort by the actor. They can be on screen for five minutes or ninety-seven, the best performance should win regardless.
A lot of time and effort was poured into doing the coverage of these films and putting together this year's HLS Movie Awards and I want to thank you all for reading along, enough of all that on to the winners!
