HLS Movie Awards 2021: Best Cinematography and Visuals Nominees!

Welcome back to the HLS Movie Awards coverage on HLS Entertainment! Today we are going to discuss the best of the best of the beautiful visual work that came out in 2021! Now here on HLS Entertainment we combine the best cinematography and VFX awards into one because just so much of modern cinematography is not solely captured on camera and is digitally altered or even made/added later on. We are here to honor the nine films that deserved the most recognition for the incredible work they did in this category. All nine of these films are stunning to look at and have their own unique beauty. This is a category that you can spend hours discussing and breaking down the outstanding work of each shot, or you can just let the visuals speak for themselves. I choose to let them speak for themselves.

To let each film speak for itself I have searched through some excellent channels on YouTube to find some great videos showing off these films set to their own score. Now in these videos they do show a lot of each movie, completely out of context and with zero dialogue, so be warned spoilers but I have watched each and most are so out of context it would be impossible to tell what is happening. I hate spoilers, so I just want you to be warned. I do want to apologize to Belfast and Nomadland, I could not find a proper video, so I instead put the trailer for each film.

Belfast

Dune

Eternals

The Green Knight

Last Night in Soho

No Time to Die

Nomadland

The Power of the Dog

The Suicide Squad

Thank you so much for taking the time to go through each of these if you enjoyed this, please be sure to share on your social medias and follow me on mine @HaroldLStokes !
