2020 NFC Preview: Divisions Winners and Win Total Predictors!

 2020 NFC Preview

This is a barebones breakdown of each NFC Division and how their records should play out. I have combed through every single teams schedule and broken down each game based on my projections for this season.

This is a preseason preview and prediction solely, each week in the NFL the entire league can change based off a couple break out players or key injuries.

The Biggest movers from last season to this season are: Bucs/Cardinals win total projected to improve by 3 wins. Rams and Panthers both fall -4 in their win total from last season, expect Sean McVay to be on the hotseat but this season will have so much outside pressures affecting gameplay I do not expect them to fire Sean McVay

Tom Brady joining the conference will have an impact but potentially not as giant as some people are expecting, remember this is not prime Brady, but he is still a big improvement from the 30 interceptions thrown last year by Winston, the Bucs will not lose close games because of QB play.

Carolina legitimately could go 0-16, if it was not for them having the most explosive skill player in the NFL with Christian McCaffery and a new head coach in Matt Rhule setting out to prove he belongs in the NFL I would bet that they would go 0-16. The under for their win total set at 5 is probably the lock of this entire list.

Super Bowl hangovers are very real, be on the look out for San Francisco to have a down year. But I am betting they will not have a set back this year. Their team was not built around an explosive offense that got lucky, or a turnover happy defense. They were built on great Dline play and a strong run game, two of the easiest things in the NFL to carry over. If their pass blocking is fixed (I believe it might be) Jimmy G might finally be able to sling the ball instead of getting sacked 36 times.

Minnesota and Green Bay's win total odds were crazy to me. I do not think Green Bay is actually a Super Bowl contender but Minnesota legitimately is, however much we all might love Diggs he was obviously a part of a locker room issue and Justin Jefferson will be an amazing replacement without the attitude.
