   Welcome back #HLSBets followers we are currently in the long dark time of the offseason that has been especially rough with no NFL Combine but with the NFL Draft around the corner we have some stuff to talk about.       Today we are going to be looking back into the #HLSBets two NFL season preview blogs that came out early September last year. In these blogs I went division by division predicting win totals and advising on whether or not you should bet the Vegas line for those totals.      Now in this blog we are going to be grading them. Check and see how well we did, check what information we can glean from the mistakes and move forward for this years bets.       The Academy Awards were last night and How dare the Academy Awards honor an 83 year old legend who put on his best performance of his life. How dare they put best actor last? It's not like even the director of the show has no idea who wins each award until the envelopes are opened     How dare the Oscars put on a solid show that was honestly just too calm and boring. Okay enough of that dumb bit. I have reached the point that I now miss long Oscars.      Welcome to the HLS Movie Awards! I love doing these post, and will miss doing the weekly nominee lists. I adored the conversations I have had with readers on  twitter about their favorite performances and movies of the year. Please never hold back on that I love it! Thank you all so much for helping make the HLS Movie Awards happen, and sending encouraging feedback.          This blog will be awarding the winners in theses categories in this order, Best Stunt Work, Best Film Score, Best Screenplay and Dialogue, Best Cinematography and Visuals, The Streaming Award, Best Actress, Best Actor, and then Best Movie of 2020. Remember to be nominated the film has to have released to the public between January 1st - December 31st 2020. Today we are going through the Oscars categories one by one to project who will win each while we are going to be skipping the shorts and documentary categories. Zero disrespect to the artist involved in making the documentaries and short films.       This blog doubles as an #HLSBets blog as well because certain bookmakers will have Academy Awards betting, not all but some do. So in that vein of thinking, this blog is about who we THINK will will not who we WANT to win. Does not mean we do not want some of these outcomes but you can clearly see some discrepancies with these choices and HLS Movie Award nominees.          Welcome back to HLS Movie Awards Nominees this weeks installment Best Picture, aka this years final Top Movies of 2020 Part 5 10-1. Though unfortunately the order of 10-1 is not revealed until next week during the HLS Movie Awards. This list like all nominee list is in alphabetical order, not a ranking.      We have ten wonderful movies that we would recommend to everyone to watch, from a variety of genres and tones. We truly believe these are the best movies released IN 2020 bar none. And remember the requirement that the movie has to have come out IN 2020 to be eligible.     Doing these rankings and nominees lists have been a blast again this year and they will be back next to recap 2021 movies again earlier next year.
